Quick verdict

Best for eco-conscious consumers seeking premium, certified-organic home textiles. Especially those with allergies, sensitive skin, eczema, or chemical sensitivities. The brand stands out for producing the world's first GOTS-certified organic hemp sheets, launching North America's first towel Take Back Programme, and donating 10% of profits to charity. The caveat: it's a small brand with a narrow product range, no B Corp certification, and "Fair Trade factory" claims that are self-stated rather than independently certified.

Room for improvement

  • Limited transparency documentation. No published sustainability report, no factory list, no specific environmental metrics. "Fair Trade factory" claims are self-stated without visible independent certification.

About Delilah Home

Delilah Home was founded in 2019 in Charlotte, North Carolina, by Michael Twer, a textile industry veteran and Chairman of the Organic Trade Association Fibre Council. The brand is named after a rescued golden retriever who survived 62 harrowing days alone in the North Carolina mountains—a story that became a symbol of resilience and community.

All products are manufactured in a family-run factory in Portugal. The core line uses 100% GOTS-certified organic Turkish cotton at 300TC/180 GSM for sheets and 700 GSM for towels (30–50% thicker than standard). The organic hemp sheets, launched in December 2020, are the world's first to achieve GOTS certification—in 2024, the brand launched the Drytek line alongside North America's first towel Take Back Programme.

Products are sold DTC and through Macy's, Bloomingdale's, Amazon, Target, Perigold, Zola, and Chewy. The company donates 10% of profits to organisations including 1% for the Planet. Awards include Good Housekeeping Best Organic Cotton Sheets (2021 and 2025). In March 2025, the brand crossed 1 million pieces sold.
